Key aspects of the role include:
- Manage initiatives within the Risk infrastructure unit.
- Assist in implementing the risk infrastructure roadmap by coordinating with the various risk units.
- Act as a liaison with key stakeholders to drive the resolution of audit points or issues.
- Define and translate customer issues into requirements for the IT department.
- Act as a data steward, responsible for data coordination, correction, and enforcing data standards within the organization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments of banking projects, portfolios, and products.
- Perform vendor management tasks.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations, highlighting key findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Stay updated on central bank regulations and guidelines related to risk management in retail banking.
