We are recruiting for a Senior Credit Assessor to join our Allianz Trade office based in Dubai.
Your role & Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing SME\'s and large Caps with grading assigned that will impact commercial and risk underwriting stance.
- Assessment in line with Euler Hermes/ Allianz Grading Methodology and key risk factors by sector.
- Active monitoring of the portfolio as per sensitivity thresholds and ensuring market presence via buyers visits.
- Preparing and presenting detailed quarterly sectors insights and reports.
- Interaction and alignment with internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Commercial & Claims departments)
- Transversal projects within Credit Intelligence Department
- Strong skills in corporate credit analysis
- Strong market insights
- Negotiation skills - to source necessary information and justifying rating decisions to internal stakeholders.
- Adaptability to constant change in complex and dynamic business environment.
- knowledgeable on GCC markets and/or key regional trade sectors
- Business expertise - minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Banking, Audit/Consulting or Credit Insurance industry.
- Interpersonal skills:
- Agile and team player
- Ability to take and justify grading decisions
- Self motivation and eager for continuous personal development
- Capacity to manage tasks/projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Educational requirements:
- Audit, Finance background Masters. in Finance/Accounting
- CFA or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong business writing and communication skills in English, Arabic will be a plus.
