Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To perform a range of maintenance activities related to surface preparation and paint all equipment/materials in the plant with high standards of quality and safety.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Completes assigned maintenance painting jobs with required standards. Independently carries out minor painting jobs and planned maintenance painting activities as required. Carries out effective maintenance tasks on various maintenance equipment as per the operating procedures. Operates blasting and painting equipment for the maintenance painting jobs. Acts as a team player and makes suggestions to improve shop services for internal customers. Follows the safe working practices based on company's safety rules and regulations to protect personnel, plant, and equipment. Maintains good housekeeping in the assigned work area and keeps equipment and tools in clean, tidy, and safe conditions. Coaches and guides National Trainees/TPRF personnel doing routine jobs in the shop.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate or vocational graduate in industrial painting
Minimum Experience:
Minimum years' experience in Maintenance Good basic knowledge in all painting equipment and knowledge Must possess a working knowledge of written and spoken English
Skills:
Good basic knowledge in types of industrial painting works and equipment Written and verbal English communication skills * Know how to read technical specifications for different paints
