Overview:
Join IDC's dynamic and growing events team as a Senior Conference Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering some of the region's most influential technology conferences and summits.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, client-focused events professional with at least 5 years of experience in managing B2B conferences and exhibitions. Based in our regional headquarters in Dubai, you'll work alongside a skilled, collaborative, and fun team of event experts who bring IDC's vision to life across the Middle East, Turkiye, and Africa (META).

• High-Impact Projects: With a portfolio of 200+ tech events delivered annually across META, your work will directly shape IDC's thought leadership platform and brand presence in one of the world's most dynamic regions.

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of conferences and summits across the META region.
• Work closely with internal teams, clients, and sponsors to develop compelling agendas and event experiences.
• Manage relationships with venues, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Monitor profitability, track event KPIs, and ensure events meet both client expectations and IDC standards.
• Utilize social media and digital tools to support event marketing and drive audience engagement.
• Be a team player who contributes to a collaborative, high-energy environment and inspires junior colleagues.

• A confident, detail-oriented professional who brings:
• Proven experience managing B2B conferences (minimum 5 years).
• Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must, additional languages (notably arabic) is highly desired.
• Strong client engagement and relationship management skills.
• Excellent understanding of venue selection, audio visual, branding, contract negotiation, and supplier coordination.
• Working knowledge of event-related social media strategy and platforms.
• Budget management expertise with a track record of delivering profitable events.
• A team-first mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with tools like Cvent is a nice to have.
