Smile Link Dental Laboratory, one of the leading laboratories in the United Arab Emirates, opens a vacancy for a highly-skilled and accurate Senior CadCam - Dental Technician to join its fast-growing team in achieving the company's goal in providing top-notch customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have minimum 5+ years of experience as a dental technician in the Ceramic Department.
With good experience in CADCAM tools/software
Must be a Certified Dental Technician (CDT) and Licensed dental technician with DOH is an advantage
Proficiency with dental laboratory software and technology
Excellent knowledge in designing surgical guides, implants, veneers, onlay/inlay, crowns etc
Graduate as a Dental Technician or any related courses.
Possesses team-leader and/or supervisory skills and mentality.
Fast Learner and is able to adapt to the company standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilizes and conserves supplies and equipment by completing plaster casting, electro-spot welding, metal casting, metal polishing, wax modeling, ceramics, wire bending, electroplating and sandblasting; using CAD/CAM units; Exo Cad; 3D shape dental designing; maintaining supplies inventories; keeping equipment operating.
Uses common dental lab tools, including porcelain ovens and furnaces, pinning equipment, and lathes.
Uses common computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs), prescriptions, and dental impressions.
Collaborates with dentists, orthodontists, and other dental lab technicians.
Adheres to lab processes and procedures and industry standards.
Updates dental laboratory technician job knowledge and skills by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances dental laboratory reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
