CadCam - Dental Technician Team Leader

Required Qualifications:

Education: Degree or diploma in Dental Technology or Digital Dentistry. Experience: Minimum 5 years in CAD-CAM dental lab operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in CAD design software (3Shape, Exocad). Proficiency with CAM equipment (Roland, Amann Girrbach, Zirkonzahn, etc.). Understanding of dental materials (zirconia, lithium disilicate, PMMA, etc.).

Key Competencies:

Strong leadership and organizational skills. High attention to detail and aesthetics. Problem-solving and analytical thinking. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Adaptability to emerging digital trends in dentistry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the CAD/CAM Department and oversee its operations to ensure efficient workflow and achievement of departmental objectives. Ensure team compliance with all the company rules and regulations of the company. Responsible for conducting the final checking of all outgoing cases from the department with the assistance of Quality Representative of the Department to ensure that all outputs meet established standards and are of the highest quality. Monitor and set a plan to meet the department's target sets by the management. Be the point of contact of department heads in terms of their concerns and requests to the other department. Ensure the team's compliance with the usage of the company system and communication modes. Attend to and report attendance and compliance concerns with the HR and Quality Department Provide tasks and schedules for the team and to ensure smooth flow of operation within the department with compromising the work's requirement. Ensuring that all needful details and instructions for the cases are provided to the technicians and monitoring the productivity of the department technicians. Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to enhance team productivity, ensuring that quality standards are maintained. Foster clear communication within the department and promote collaboration to ensure a seamless and efficient technical workflow. Administer regular evaluation to the staff and assess the needful training for the team and implement targeted skill development plans in coordination with the QC and HR department. This includes that the team is proficient in the latest tools in technology. Attend meetings, create reports, participate in training programs and other company requirements. The following tasks are the primary responsibilities of the CAD/CAM Department: Scanning physical cases, Design, Nesting, Milling and Printing. Adhere to the schedule and task given by the Team Leader. Comply with the system compliance and requirements to ensure that all are as per the set regulations and process of the company. Inform probable delays of any outputs ahead of time to the case coordinator with a definite re-scheduled time to be coordinated to the clinics Report all the necessary fixes of equipment and material within the department to the Quality Department Ensure that digital cases received from different systems shown below are printed and properly entered the system, under the supervision and monitoring of the Head of Dental Tech Assistant.
