Role Summary
As a Senior Business Partner, you will work with the EMEA People Leader and Regional People Leaders to design and deliver a range of People Projects and initiatives across the EMEA region that support our employer brand and culture, create a positive employee experience for our people, and achieve the long-term goals of the Business.
This is an exciting and key role across the EMEA region, where you can combine your business partnering experience with your employee experience, talent and learning background. You will be involved in influencing, overseeing and managing a range of people programmes across EMEA with a focus on enhancing the experience of our people throughout their employment journey with GHD.
With your track record of experience, you will be able to provide a significant contribution to the EMEA People Strategy and Plan, and be instrumental in the development of our business and culture.
Reporting and Stakeholders
The role reports into the EMEA People Leader and has no direct reports. The role will be based in the UK and can be located at any of our offices across the region
Critical stakeholders
This role will involve a range of significant stakeholders, including: Regional People Managers, Regional People Teams, EMEA Talent Acquisition Lead, Global Centres of Excellence relevant to employee experience focus areas, key business stakeholders as well as the EMEA Leadership Team, Global Wellbeing Lead, Global & Regional I&D Leads, Employee Resource Groups, and the Communications team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate, oversee, influence and manage a range of people projects and programmes across the EMEA region with a particular focus on enhancing our employee experience, developing a learning culture and strong talent pipeline, and creating a culture where everyone can thrive.
Assess the impact of organizational processes and structures to ensure our people\'s employment journey is positive, and aligned with our GHD brand and culture aspirations
Design approaches to help drive and assess employee engagement and employee experience across the organisation
Understand the role of line managers and business leads on team and individual engagement, and develop awareness programmes/initiatives to improve their impact
Lead the EMEA Wellbeing Delivery Group, inputting to global Wellbeing plans, and developing and delivering a regional EMEA wellbeing strategy and plan aligned with the global strategy
Develop our EMEA CSR (GHD in the Community) strategy across EMEA, establish and input to EMEA Community networks, and support campaigns and delivery against regional strategy
Work closely with the Global Inclusion & Diversity team to develop, define, and plan EMEA programme objectives and policy requirements, and co-ordinate EMEA I&D initiatives where required
Partner with our Talent & Learning centre of excellence to design and develop EMEA talent & learning programmes to support regional business plans and strategy.
Provide progress reports on people projects and programmes on a monthly basis to support regular reporting to the Executive Leadership and Global People Teams
In conjunction with the EMEA Communications Team, design communications plans that positively impact on employee experience and engagement
Leverage leading practices, future trends, and innovative solutions to design, sustain and maintain people programmes across EMEA
Perform other related duties as assigned, such as supporting the EMEA People Leader with other people related projects or reporting as required
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience of managing communication through various channels
Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of employee experience & engagement, people management, talent management, and the dynamics of employee development and professional growth
Ability to influence key stakeholders and build strong business relationships at all levels
Proven success working in a busy, global, and growing business environment
Ability to compose and present compelling reports and presentations
Ability to plan, organize and present project plans to diverse stakeholder groups
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
Qualification in human resources or a related field and some years of human resource experience
Experience of managing multiple projects across a broad range of areas and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and to budget
Track record of relevant experience in employee experience, talent development and organizational culture.
CIPD qualified preferred but not essential
