Job Description

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization\'s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.

ITWorks is hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Developer who will contribute and develop high-quality analytics for Oracle Cerner\'s strategic programs using a number of BI development platforms, including Business Objects, SAS and Tableau to provide consistent, reliable, and scalable insights to the client. ITWorks is a strategic alignment between Cerner and a client organization to advance health and care. Through ITWorks, our teams and goals align, we become part of the client organization, and the organization\'s IT staff become Cerner associates. Together, we help our clients rapidly advance service delivery, improve the caregiver and patient experience, and further health initiatives in their communities. ITWorks provides expertise and supports to maximize client\'s investments in IT solutions, infrastructure, and operational effectiveness and efficiencies.

As a Senior BI Developer, you will analyze Clinical, Operational, and financial data and help internal and external stakeholders by developing insights to solve business problems using data and pursuing data analytics projects. As a key member of the ITWx team, you will navigate through the complex business challenges to design solutions using different Data Analytics tools and convert them into design and develop assets to achieve business objectives and support internal initiatives. You will work closely with all client stakeholders to understand the staretgic requirements and align data analytics strategy to those.

Relocation support is not offered for this position.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics; or related field; or 4 years equivalent relevant work experience, plus;
  • At least 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
  • At least 3 year of business analytics work experience
  • Hands-on experience in developing dashboards and visual insights in SAS/Tableau/Power BI etc
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Cerner Millennium
  • At least 2 year of experience working with SAS platform
  • At least 5 year of experience working with SAP Business Objects
  • Experience working in sql, data transformation and preparation
Expectations:
  • Willing to participate in on-call rotation as needed
  • Willing to work 100% from the client site
  • Willing to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
