VAM Systems is currently looking for Business Intelligence Developer for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions: Skills: a. Essential (Minimum) . Fluent in English (Both writing & speaking). . Business analysis skills . Analytical and technical troubleshooting skills . Strong communication skills: The ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and management, particularly when it comes to explaining complex technical issues or providing training. b. Desirable (Optional) . Customer service awareness and skills . Business Professional Language 7. Knowledge and Experience . Essential (Minimum) . General background and knowledge in database and database administration . Data analysis background with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze raw data and information . Interpretation, analysis and assessment of different data visualizations available in the analysis tools such as MS Power BI and Qlik sense. . Experience with business intelligence and data analysis concepts including data modelling, warehouse and mining . Experience with ETL (extraction, transformation and loading) from different sources . Technical knowledge and experience in data models and database design and structure . Strong knowledge and experience in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, PL/SQL, Qlik sense, Power BI, etc. b. Desirable . Knowledge of statistical methods and data . Knowledge and experience of leveraging insights and wrangling data from disparate data sources 8. Qualifications a. Essential (Minimum) ii. University Degree in IT from a recognized university or institution b. Desirable (Optional) . Professional certificates in data analytics . Professional certificates in business analysis . Professional certificates in MS Power BI or Qlik sense . 1+ years' experience in using Power BI or Qlik sense 9. Personal Attributes a. Essential (Minimum) . Strong personality . User Friendly . Patient and flexible attitude . Sense of commitment . Excellent Communication and Inter personal skills . Mature, professional attitude with strong work ethic . Attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously . Able to communicate technical information and tell the story through data to non-technical audience b. Desirable (Optional) iv. Handle work pressure 10. Main Duties: . Develop, deploy and maintain BI tools and interfaces. . Define the performance KPIs, generate analysis and reporting that suites to measure performance from the different departments in the organization. . Perform exploratory analysis that interrogates, supports, and challenges business assumptions. . Organize and transform data to derive information and actionable knowledge . Review data, assess quality/accuracy of data and final information/report . Design dashboards to present KPIs to the executive management . Work with IT team members and the business end users to deliver reporting and dashboard solutions that meet the needs of the organization. .
