About our client
Join a dynamic team at a global investment company based in Abu Dhabi. We are currently seeking a proactive Senior Associate to join their Operational Risk team. This role will require full relocation to Abu Dhabi.
They are seeking someone who currently works in a sovereign wealth or pension fund to join their team. What the job involves

• Lead operational risk management initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
• Collaborate with heads of departments to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across various functions
• Utilize analytical skills to interpret data and present insights to senior management
• Implement data-driven risk assessment methodologies and leverage technology tools such as Power BI and Aptitude
• Foster a strong risk culture within the organisation, deploying appropriate tools and techniques
• Support deep dives into risk themes, addressing ad-hoc requests from corporate units

Who we are looking for

• Prior experience of working in a sovereign wealth fund or pension fund is essential
• STEM background or quantitative skills are preferred
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
• Experience in management consulting with a focus on risk management is desirable
• Familiarity with risk culture frameworks and implementation strategies
• Ability to design, execute, and deliver on ad-hoc requests with flexibility
• Knowledge of technology tools such as Power BI and Aptitude
