Senior Architectural Designer

to lead and elevate our design standards.

Position Overview:

The Senior Architectural Designer will play a key leadership role in shaping the creative direction of major architectural projects. This position requires deep design knowledge, technical proficiency, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in conceptual and detailed design.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the conceptual and schematic design process for large-scale architectural projects. Translate client requirements into innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling architectural solutions. Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate designers throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure design integrity is maintained through execution. Oversee and ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards. Present designs to internal stakeholders and clients, articulating the design rationale and strategy. Coordinate with project managers to ensure deadlines, budgets, and project goals are met.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. 15 to 20 years of professional experience in architectural design, including leadership roles in complex projects. Proven track record of delivering high-quality design from concept through to execution.

AutoCAD

- Advanced

Revit

- Advanced (mandatory)

SketchUp / Rhino

- Intermediate to Advanced

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

- Advanced

3ds Max / V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion

- Preferred for visualization purposes

MS Office Suite

- Proficient

Key Skills:

Strong design leadership and vision. Deep understanding of architectural principles, building systems, and construction methods. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously. Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and UAE regulatory standards and submission processes.
