Mark Williams is working an Emiratization role with a leading Government entity which is looking for an Senior Applications Analyst who will play a key role in the implementation and continued development of IT applications and systems within the IT Department.

Role:

• Assisting in the development, administration and configuration of the Finance, HR systems, the EIA corporate Intranet, workflow and reporting systems
• Establishing key business requirements, writing documentation, and ensuring the implementation and testing of customizations to the applications solutions
• Installation, configuration, monitoring and on-going maintenance to ensure web services and programs function securely and efficiently
• Implementing Intranet solutions in accordance with the organizations standards and technical requirements
• Assist in developing EIA IT policies and procedures in relation to the applications/systems
• Interact with vendors to understand software limitations.
• Help programmers during system development, ex: provide use cases, flowcharts or even Database design
• Identify and document system deficiencies and recommends solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relate discipline
• Three (3) to Six (6) years IT experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of systems or applications administration, business analysis/requirements gathering
• Strong technical background with extensive software design and development experience with Microsoft tools and technologies
• Project Management accreditation beneficial
• Use of appropriate publishing and web development software
• UAE National with Family Book (As per client request)
