The bank is on a Default Digital strategy and is executing several focused initiatives in Treasury & Global Markets, Risk and Asset Liability Management. This role is responsible for setting-up, enhancing, automation and managing multiple treasury domain applications, Trading Platforms, Asset Liability and Risk Management Analytical systems.

This is a mid-level role shaping and leading the Bank's digital delivery agenda; and is responsible for development and maintenance of the assigned suit of applications required to help us achieve our Default Digital goals.

The role holder has end to end responsibility for an area that is strategic in nature and needs specialist business and IT knowledge and experience to influence and drive decision making.

There is direct supervision of a number of team leaders and multiple hybrid delivery teams. It also involves management of multiple business stakeholders, vendors, internal and external audit, finance and regulatory agencies - either independently or with other business leaders.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• This role would be the primary owner of the assigned portfolio of applications used by Bank and will own and drive the application roadmap and enhancements for these applications.

• To design, develop and implement secure business function on a portfolio of applications as per existing software development standards and the Bank's policies (such as risk, audit etc)

• Work with the GL to drive and validate end-to-end solution design (people, process and technology) to ensure completeness of solution that meets business requirements.

• Oversee and manage the delivery for the applications portfolio as part of the overall programs and project progress to meet approved project budget and schedule.

• Providing support and advice to IT Development and Support teams with regard to the assigned portfolio of applications

• Build, manage and nurture a delivery team with relevant experience, expertise, and technology knowledge.

• To be as SME and guide to the wider team from a business-technology perspective

• Maintain relationships with schemes, vendors, and regulatory organizations for all related matters, not limited to delivery.

• Maintain an overview of the infrastructure and users to constantly reassess the environment, to rationalize and ensuring uniform and cohesive monitoring across the technology stack.

• Collaborate with the Architecture team to review and re-engineer architecture of managed applications

• Participate in the transfer of the system to the state of production and review the results and make the required modifications for the purpose of extradition to the beneficiaries or the technical divisions concerned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering

• Master's in Management/IT preferred

• Relevant Industry Certification(s)

• Industry Certification in Scrum/Agile/Project Management desirable

• Expert on Treasury Management in UAE with exposure to Treasury system implementation and customization of FIS Quantum TMS.

• Functional and implementation Knowledge on all the Treasury Products and procedures mainly FX, Money Market, Securities, Bonds, Repos, IRS, SWAPS and Options.

• 5+ years of experience in developing, customizing, maintaining & supporting Quantum TMS with deep expertise on Treasury Products, Market Risk, Analytical, Operations and SWIFT Messages.

• Hands on expertise on integration to and knowledge of FXALL, Bloomberg, Reuters, Refinitiv Tools, Request Builders, Eikon, FX Rate ASK Adapter and Saxo Margin Trading Platforms.

• Familiar with multiple DBMS and SAP Crystal Reports.

• 5+ years' experience of production support for Treasury Systems and familiar incident and Vendor management.

• Experience in managing large projects with internal and vendor based development models

• Hands-on functional knowledge around the assigned Application / Business portfolio

• Solid technical and treasury domain knowledge and ability to resolve technical issue especially on the assigned Application Portfolio, Open API, Agile Delivery, Azure technology, DevOps adoption etc.

• Strong project management skills including planning, documenting, communication and delivering the end-result on-time, with quality.

• Strong interest and knowledge of emerging technology trends and applications.

• Strong stakeholder management and negotiating and influencing skill

• Strong leadership as well as Strong collaboration skill

• Strong business acumen with a good analytical mindset will be essential
