Job Summary (in List Format):
- Role: Airport Operations Systems Lead, responsible for end-to-end management of airport technology systems.
- Primary Focus: Implementation, integration, and operational management of mission-critical airport systems across terminal, airfield, and baggage domains.
- Strategic Planning: Lead system design and deployment to support terminal operations (check-in, boarding, gates), airfield management (AODB, resource management, surveillance), and baggage handling (BHS, BRS).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and solution providers to ensure timely, high-quality system delivery aligned with airport goals.
- Operations Oversight: Ensure 24/7 system reliability, develop SOPs, incident response protocols, and business continuity strategies.
- Technology Leadership: Drive AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics initiatives to optimize decision-making, passenger flows, and resource allocation.
- Digital Transformation: Introduce automation, cloud-based solutions, and intelligent systems; ensure system interoperability and cybersecurity compliance.
- Project Management: Oversee documentation, testing, training coordination, and manage vendor relationships.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead lifecycle upgrades, migrations, ORAT, and digital commissioning practices.
- Qualifications Required: Bachelor's (preferably Master's) in Engineering, IT, or Aviation Management; 7-10 years' experience (5-7 relevant) in aviation technology leadership; expertise in airport systems (terminal, airfield, baggage); experience with AI/ML solutions.
- Skills: Strong project and vendor management, cross-functional leadership, analytical problem-solving, familiarity with aviation standards (IATA, ICAO, ACI), proficiency in English (Arabic a plus).
