Position Overview
This role is part of FAB Group Internal Audit's Continuous Monitoring Cell (CMC), a data-driven assurance function that provides ongoing, real-time oversight of critical risk domains across the bank. The position leverages advanced analytics, automation, and continuous testing to detect anomalies, evaluate control effectiveness, and support dynamic audit planning. The role strengthens operational resilience, financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and risk governance across high-risk areas such as credit, AML/CFT, cybersecurity, and market operations.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Analytical Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain continuous monitoring strategies aligned with the bank's risk profile and audit plan.
  • Use CAATs, automation solutions, and analytics tools to expand audit coverage and identify risk patterns.
  • Build dashboards and real-time monitoring alerts to track KRIs, control performance, and transactional anomalies.
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data such as system logs, incidents, workflows, risk events, and configuration files to identify vulnerabilities or control breakdowns.
  • Perform automated, ongoing control testing across credit risk, AML/CFT, cybersecurity, treasury, and operational domains.
  • Provide insights for real-time governance, early issue detection, and recalibration of the annual audit plan.
Audit Support & Risk Assessment
  • Maintain and update the Audit Universe for IB, WB, and Credit portfolios across all FAB jurisdictions.
  • Perform risk assessments for processes and business units, enabling dynamic prioritization of audit focus areas.
  • Engage business units in periodic self-assessments to strengthen risk ownership and internal control culture.
  • Develop, update, and maintain automated audit programs within FAB's central audit management system.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes based on industry practices and regulatory expectations.
Operations, Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure monitoring activities comply with GIA policies, practice notes, and professional audit standards.
  • Track financial performance of audit activities to ensure adherence to budgets and report variances as required.
  • Support audit readiness, follow-ups, issue validation, and governance reporting.
  • Conduct investigations, special reviews, or deep-dive assessments assigned by senior audit leadership.
Relationship Management
  • Act as an Audit Business Partner for IB, WB, and Credit units, maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Meet regularly with line managers to align on emerging risks, gaps, and control effectiveness.
  • Provide advisory support on governance, risk management, and internal control enhancements.
  • Ensure continuous follow-up of audit findings until full remediation is achieved.
People Development
  • Coach junior analysts, provide on-the-job training, and support knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Promote FAB's values, ethics, and a proactive assurance mindset within the audit team.
Reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports, insights, dashboards, and analytics for management and audit leadership.
  • Provide data-driven summaries for executive and Board-level discussions.
Ideal Profile
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in audit analytics, continuous assurance, or risk management.
  • Knowledge of credit risk, AML/CFT, operational risk, cyber risk, or financial markets.
