Our client is a Group company head quartered in UAE with 16+ years of market presence looking to hire a senior accountant for Dubai office.

:

1. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance of IFRS.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records with complete ownership of R2R cycle.

2. Audit Coordination:

- Facilitate the external audit process and liaise with auditors.

- Implement recommendations from audit findings.

3. Compliance Management:

- Ensure adherence accounting, tax & statuary regulations.

- Stay updated on changes in accounting & tax standards and statutory regulations.

4. Financial Analysis:

- Conduct financial analysis and recommend strategies for optimization & decision support to reporting manager.

- Monitor budgetary control and provide insights for decision-making.

5. Tax Compliance:

- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.

- Provide support during tax audits.

6. Management Reporting:

- Generate timely and accurate management reports.

- Assist in providing financial insights to aid strategic decision-making.

7. Financial Systems Management:

- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial software systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any system-related issues.

8. Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor cash flow and liquidity positions.

- Implement strategies to optimize working capital.

Qualification: ICMA/CMA/CA/ACCA - Any One is Mandatory

Qualities & Skills:

- 2-3 years of relevant experience in UAE

- Prefer candidates from IT or Services Industry

- Advance Excel, Data Analysis, Financial Modelling is must.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

- Excellent with project & time management.

- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

- Agile and innovative approach to perform in fast pace environment.

- Strong with presentation skills, especially complex data set and ad hoc project reporting.

- Understanding of ERP & EPM implementation, the one with such experience is preferred but not mandatory.
