Job Description

The role involves overseeing financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance, while supporting strategic finance initiatives across the business.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., DFSA, SEC, FCA as applicable).
Liaise with external auditors and coordinate annual audit processes.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, compliance, and portfolio management.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACA/ACCA qualified.
Minimum 4-6 years of experience, including Big 4 audit experience with financial services clients (asset management, investment funds, or private equity).
Strong understanding of IFRS.
Experience in asset management or investment firms preferred.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting software (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP) is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
