Handling day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Thoroughly checking retail stores Daily Sales Reports and acting on the exceptions
Preparing monthly prepaid and accrual schedules and assisting with month-end closing activities
Maintaining accurate records for vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliation of Vendor SOAs
Helping prepare audit schedules and supporting audit activities when needed
Checking and processing retail staff incentives, overtime, conveyance etc
Assisting with inventory-related accounting activities including summarizing stock take reports
Recording, reconciling and processing Custom and freight related documents
Assisting managers on various work related to accounts, analysis and reporting
PROFILE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4-5 years of accounting experience (retail industry experience preferred)
Familiarity with retail ERP/accounting software
Good Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
