Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier & Vendor Management
Oversee
supplier account reconciliations
, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Manage
purchase order tracking
and cost control for F&B inventory.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
for multiple outlets.
Analyze
cost of goods sold (COGS), food cost variance, and labor costs
.
Generate
profitability reports
by outlet, menu item, and supplier.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in
annual budgeting and financial forecasting
for restaurant operations.
Monitor
actual vs. budget performance
and provide actionable insights.
Identify
cost-saving opportunities
without compromising quality.
4. Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with
local tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax, etc.)
.
Liaise with
external auditors
and regulatory authorities.
Maintain
accurate and audit-ready financial records
.
5. Systems & Process Improvement
Advanced proficiency in Xero
(or similar accounting software).
Experience with
restaurant POS systems
Streamline accounting processes for
multi-location F&B operations
.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
(CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred).
Experience:
5+ years
as a
Senior Accountant
in the
F&B/Hospitality sector
(cafes, restaurants, or hotel F&B).
Strong knowledge of
inventory costing, food & beverage margin analysis, and supplier negotiations
.
Experience with
multi-outlet financial consolidation
.
Technical Skills:
Expert in Xero
(or QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
Advanced Excel
(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Financial Modeling).
Familiarity with
POS integrations
and CRM systems.
Soft Skills:
Meticulous attention to detail
- no room for errors in F&B costing!
Strong analytical mindset
- ability to interpret financial data for business decisions.
Excellent communication
- can present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
Ethical & trustworthy
- handles sensitive financial data with integrity.
