Job Description

Our goal is to become the number one go-to leading soft toy brand for all ages in the UAE, KSA and Qatar. Based You will work incredibly closely and collaboratively with our Senior Business Development Manager as we embark on launching Jellycat in the Middle East. We will set clear strategies for identified target luxury retailers and online distribution in Key Cities with premium customers of choice \xe2\x80\x93 focusing primarily on key cities \xe2\x80\x93 Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah and Doha. You will be responsible for visiting the key accounts and building strong, robust and trusting relationships with these accounts and ensure we look the best we can at retail at all times. You will work closely with your line manager and Head of ROW sales to achieve set goals and plans and be ultimately responsible for aligning on annual budget plans and how you will achieve those, but we would never compromise brand positioning (luxury) in favour of revenue, so this is critical in the underpinning of everything we do. You\'ll be;
  • Managing a portfolio of house accounts, developing strong, engaging relationships to achieve the best possible results for the partnership in growing Jellycat
  • Partner with your account base to ensure we are maximising the full potential in each store, and pro-actively presenting back the plans and results to the team and senior management
  • Responsible for taking new collections to market \xe2\x80\x93 presenting them in an inspiring way to customers and growing brand awareness and sales
  • Working with your line manager and responsible for the full year financial budget plans and how you plan to achieve those sales plans
  • Continuity and seasonal product forecasting (rolling 12 month) working closely with the Merch team to secure stock for all opportunities in market
  • Pro-actively identify growth and brand awareness opportunities within partnerships to unlock our full retail opportunity
  • Build short term/Long term go-to-market strategies for the portfolio of accounts
  • Visit customers and stores regularly to stay close to your account base
  • Ensure operations and logistics are working efficiently and effectively with your customers and pro-actively work through ways to improve working processes
  • Confidently prepare and present new collections to buyers
  • Introduce formal touchpoints and controls with each partner to present strategic annual business plans, budgets, retail distribution (current and target) and marketing strategies
  • Lead the creation of sophisticated, forward thinking and mutually beneficial partnerships with distributors / agent, key customers, international department stores, e-commerce partners and independent retailers alike
  • Present financial and commercial results to the Head of ROW Sales
  • Be a Jellycat Brand Ambassador always
  • Follow and be aware of your customers online and SoMe activity ensuring they are operating withing the T&C\xe2\x80\x99s and Brand Guidelines
  • Present to line manager, Head of ROW Sales, Senior Business Development Manager and ultimately the Sales Director any in-store conceptual branding opportunities (SIS, pop-ups, window takeovers)
  • Build bespoke, inspiring powerpoint presentations for customers as required \xe2\x80\x93 dependent on brief
  • Order entry into SAP/ERP system to ensure end to end management of account from a system perspective \xe2\x80\x93 managing and communicating backorders for your accounts
  • Working closely with the credit control team to ensure we are working within the validated financial risk and implementing payments plans where necessary to keep stock flowing smoothly
  • Monitor stock ETS for your accounts and ensuring high levels of customer service to your accounts
  • Attending market visits wherever necessary
  • Assisting Head of ROW Sales, Snr Business Development Manager or Intl Sales Director on ad-hoc requests wherever required
You\'ll have;
  • Fluent in Arabic & English (written and spoken)
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience at National/Regional Account Manager level
  • Track record of establishing growth in the Middle Eastern market via Luxury Brand positioning
  • Proficient in Excel & Powerpoint and can effectively and confidently present to a leadership team
  • Experience pulling together brand decks, and confident in presenting new collections to customers in a compelling and inspiring way
  • Past experience working with retailers essential
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator and presenter
  • Confident in making commercial decisions but intelligence to know when to seek approval
  • Ability to influence and negotiate
  • Strong at building & maintaining effective professional relationships at all levels
  • Personable and positive mindset and approach
  • Can remain focused on maximising sales through professional relationships whilst understanding and respecting business limitation and brand guidelines
  • Remain mindful of the Jellycat \xe2\x80\x98tone\xe2\x80\x99 and communication style associated with our brand
