The Role
Position: Security Systems Engineer Salary: up to 5,000 AED plus company car Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates Job Type: Full Time About the company The hiring company is security solutions company with head office situated in the UK. . . Routine Maintenance / Planned Preventative Maintenance as scheduled by the line manager. . Inspect and clean the respective equipment to be maintained i.e., Cameras, DVR/ NVR, Switch's and Perimeter Detection Systems (PIDs) following the maintenance SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) as per the design specifications, drawings and advance maintenance report. . Identify and when approved, repair faults found on maintenance visits. . Installation and commissioning of high-level security system hardware. . Commissioning and testing of security systems. . Installation and commissioning of software and networking systems. . Report daily to the line manager. . Submit timely working records, expenses and vehicle mileage sheets when requested. . Work on the installation and commissioning of special projects as and when assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications: . You will be experienced and enthusiastic team member. (essential) . 5 or more year's work experience as a security system engineer or related position. (essential) . Good verbal and written skills. (essential) . Ability to work on their own and use initiative. (essential) . Knowledge of security systems including identifying and carrying out work on anti-virus applications, firewalls, authentication systems and intruder detection notification systems. (essential) . Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. (essential) . Proficient in using a laptop to remote access client's sites to first line troubleshoot. (essential) . Proficient in AutoCAD or a related drawing package (desired). . Troubleshooting network and software issues (desired). . Valid UAE driving license (essential).
