Job Title: Security Guard
Location: Dubai, UAE
Reports to: Security Supervisor / Security Manager
Job Purpose:
To ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets by performing proactive security patrols, access control, and incident response. The Security Guard acts as the first line of defense in maintaining a secure and orderly environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular foot patrols of the premises (interior and exterior) to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, fire, safety hazards, or security breaches.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the site.
• Operate and monitor various security and communication systems (e.g., two-way radios, access control panels).
• Write detailed, accurate, and timely daily activity reports and incident logs.
• Respond promptly to emergencies (medical, fire, security threats) to provide assistance and contact appropriate emergency services.
• Uphold company rules, regulations, and policies, and report any violations.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a vigilant security posture.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after operational hours and during designated times.
• Assist in investigations by providing factual information and evidence.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Security Guard within Dubai, UAE.
• Certification: Must possess a valid and active SIRA Certificate (Security Industry Regulatory Agency).
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field is preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong observational and surveillance skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Sound knowledge of standard security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Physically fit to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
