Security Guard
Job Title: Security Guard
Reports To: Facilities Manager / Security Supervisor
Salary: AED 3,000 per month
Job Purpose:
To ensure the safety and security of the premises, staff, students, and visitors by monitoring the property, controlling access, and responding to incidents. The Security Guard acts as a visible deterrent to unauthorized activity and is the first line of defense in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Access Control: Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of the premises. Issue visitor badges and maintain access logs.
• Patrols: Conduct regular foot patrols of the building and perimeter to ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates, and to identify any suspicious behavior or safety hazards.
• Surveillance: Operate and monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) where available.
• Incident Response: Respond to alarms and emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches, according to established protocols. Contact relevant authorities (police, fire department) if necessary.
• Reporting: Maintain daily activity logs and prepare detailed incident reports for management.
• Emergency Procedures: Have a thorough understanding of the facility's emergency procedures and evacuation plans.
• Customer Service: Provide assistance and directions to visitors and parents in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid SIRA certification is mandatory for security roles in the UAE.
• Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role.
• Ability to remain alert and vigilant for extended periods.
• Strong observation skills and a high sense of integrity and responsibility.
• Basic knowledge of public safety and security protocols.
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to incidents.
