Secretary Cum Accountant

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Secretarial Duties:



Manage daily administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence. Prepare and format reports, letters, and official documents. Maintain and organize office filing systems and records (digital and physical). Answer phone calls, take messages, and handle routine inquiries professionally. Handle travel and accommodation arrangements. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.

Accounting Duties:



Maintain day-to-day accounting records (AP/AR, journal entries, bank transactions). Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers. Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash. Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports. Prepare VAT filings and assist with audits and compliance reports. Liaise with auditors, banks, and external partners as needed.

Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar role. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books). Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and basic labor laws preferred.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
