Science Teacher for the Primary Stage

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement effective and interactive science lessons for primary students that align with the school curriculum. Encourage curiosity and critical thinking by utilizing hands-on experiments, inquiry-based learning, and collaborative projects. Assess student learning and progress, providing timely feedback and support to help them excel academically. Create an enjoyable and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, teamwork, and a passion for discovery. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and involvement in class activities. Collaborate with other teachers to contribute to the overall curriculum and participate in school-wide events and initiatives. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching strategies and stay updated with the latest educational practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Elementary Education, or a relevant field. Teaching certification or qualification is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience at the primary level, preferably in a science-related subject. Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Creative, enthusiastic, and committed to promoting an engaging learning environment.
