Lead the continued development of the school in close cooperation with the school board, staff, students and parents.

Set clear direction while promoting motivation, job satisfaction and well being among school employees.

Be visible, approachable and open, with clear views and active involvement in the local community.

Place students at the center of school leadership and maintain high expectations for every learner.

Recognize the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation within the school to support development and problem solving.

Actively strengthen collaboration between the school and preschool.

Give high priority to student well being and a positive school culture.

Support and further develop a safe, inclusive and effective learning environment.

Job Requirements

Teaching qualification or similar relevant education, preferably supported by postgraduate studies.

Interest and experience in both educational leadership and administrative or personnel management tasks.

Ability to manage several responsibilities at the same time while keeping a clear overview.

Capability to promote shared responsibility and cooperation between students, parents and staff.

Visionary mindset with a practical and action oriented approach.

Good knowledge of the Public Education Act and related regulations.

Familiarity with collective agreements for teachers and other school employees.
