Slices Catering Services LLC is a school food provider whose commitment is to provide students with a high quality and nutritious dining experience. We are currently seeking a talented and passionate head chef to lead our school's culnary team and deliver delicious, wholesome meals to our students and school staff.
As the school head chef, you will be responsible for:
Menu planning: In coordination with the central executive chef, you will be involved in designing and developing diverse and nutritious menus that meet the dietary needs and requirements by the school.
Food Preparation: Overseeing the preparation of meals in a safe, hygienic and efficient manner.
Kitchen Managment: Managing the schools kitchen operations, including staff supervision, inventory control and budget management.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring food quality and presentation meet the highest standards.
Nutritional compliance: Ensuring that all meals comply with the regulations on the dietary guidelines for the school.
Safety & Hygiene: Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Menu Innovation: Keeping up to date with culinary trends and adapting menus.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as head chef, kitchen supervisor or similar role, preferably in an educational or school catering setting. Culinary degree or relevant certification. Strong understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements for various age groups. Proficiency in menu planning, budget management, and kitchen operations. Leadership and team management skills. Knowlege of health & safety regulations. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
