Scaffolding Supervisor
Job Description
Supervise and coordinate all scaffolding activities on-site.
Plan and organize daily work schedules for scaffolders and related personnel.
Inspect and assess scaffold structures to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with project requirements.
Ensure scaffolding is erected, maintained, and dismantled in accordance with health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, HSE).
Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks related to scaffolding activities.
Maintain records of scaffolding inspections, work permits, and material usage.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate scaffold requirements.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of scaffolding materials and equipment.
Train and mentor junior scaffolders and laborers.
Identify and resolve any scaffolding-related issues or hazards on-site.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum [5] years of experience in scaffolding operations, with at least [2] years in a supervisory role. Certification in scaffolding supervision or advanced scaffolding (e.g., CISRS, SAIA, or local equivalent). Knowledge of scaffolding standards, load calculations, and construction safety regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scaffolding plans. Physical fitness to work at height and in various weather conditions. First Aid and relevant safety training certifications
