Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design scaffolding systems (tube & coupler, system scaffolding, suspended scaffolds, formwork support, access platforms). Prepare detailed scaffolding drawings, calculations, and material take-offs. Conduct structural analysis and load calculations for scaffolding structures. Review site conditions and provide technical solutions tailored to project requirements. Support site teams with technical clarifications, design modifications, and troubleshooting. Coordinate with project engineers, HSE teams, and clients for approvals. Review and approve scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling methods. Conduct risk assessments and ensure designs follow safety best practices. Maintain proper documentation, records, and design revisions.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience in scaffolding design (construction, oil & gas, industrial projects). Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems and access solutions. Proficiency in AutoCAD, and scaffolding design software (e.g., STAAD, Scaffold Designer, or similar). Familiarity with UAE / GCC safety regulations is an advantage. Good understanding of load calculations, wind loads, and site constraints. Strong communication and coordination skills.
