Job Title: Scaffolding Design Engineer

Reports to: Senior Design Engineer/ Project Manager

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Scaffolding Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scaffolding solutions for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop scaffolding solutions for complex projects, considering factors like structural integrity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

2. Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure scaffolding designs meet industry standards (e.g., OSHA, Eurocodes).

3. Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for scaffolding systems.

4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.

5. Review and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) and design-related queries from clients and contractors.

6. Stay updated on industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.

2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in scaffolding design engineering or a related field.

3. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, SAP2000).

4. Strong understanding of industry standards (e.g., OSHA, Eurocodes) and regulations.

5. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

2. Experience with 3D modeling and simulation software.

3. Certification in scaffolding design or a related field (e.g., OSHA certification).

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
