Known for creating impactful visual experiences, we are looking to expand our production team and urgently need a Sanding Assistant to support the finishing stages of our exciting projects.
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in surface preparation and finishing within a dynamic, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with sanding and smoothing surfaces using both hand and power tools
Remove paint, rough patches, and surface imperfections to prepare for finishing
Support surface preparation for painting, staining, and coating applications
Collaborate with painters, carpenters, and other production staff to meet project deadlines
Perform minor surface touch-ups and ensure a high-quality finish
Maintain clean, organized work areas in line with safety and hygiene standards
Strictly adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of sanding tools and surface preparation techniques
Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on production role
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor and repetitive tasks
