The Sales Specialist will be responsible for generating leads, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue for the company. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, sales expertise, and deep knowledge of the digital media landscape. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, and adept at identifying business opportunities within the industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and engage with potential clients, including brands, agencies, and businesses looking for digital media solutions.
Develop customized media sales strategies that align with client needs.
Manage the entire sales cycle--from prospecting to closing deals.
Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and industry trends.
Generate leads through networking, cold calls, and strategic outreach.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
Serve as the key point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and strategic mediarecommendations.
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and renewals.
Provide after-sales support and troubleshoot issues related to digital media campaigns.
Revenue & Target Achievement:
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
Track and report revenue performance, pipeline progress, and market trends.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and media packages with potential clients.
Work closely with finance and management to optimize revenue streams.
Media Strategy & Coordination:
Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop engaging digital media campaigns.
Offer strategic insights to clients on ad placement, audience targeting, and digital engagement.
Stay updated on the latest digital trends, social media algorithms, and emerging technologies inmedia advertising.
Reporting & Market Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client engagements, and deal closures in CRM systems.
Provide periodic reports on market insights, competitor strategies, and business growthrecommendations.
Suggest improvements in sales approaches based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the digital media, advertising, ormarketing industry.
Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
Technical & Sales Skills:
Strong understanding of digital media, advertising, and marketing solutions.
Experience working with media sales platforms, programmatic advertising, and social mediamarketing tools.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills (verbal & written).
Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales tracking tools.
Ability to interpret market data and make strategic business recommendations.
