Internal Communication:


MPCS, MSM, Halul, Shipyard & Ship Agencies/Services.


Purpose:


To establish and develop Ship Chandlering Business in UAE and it's smooth operation.


External Communication:


Shipowners, ship operators, and maritime businesses, Oil, Gas and Offshore industries in UAE, GCC and internationally.

Occupational Health & Safety and Environment


Accountability:


Are accountable for their acts and omissions.


Responsibility:


To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses.


Authority:


To stop work if they think the work is unsafe.



Education & Professional Qualification:


Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any relevant field.


Master's Degree in Business Management is preferred.


Professional Experience:


3 to 5 years of experience in Ship Chandelling Sales & Trading. Technical knowledge


of items. Experience in Procurement will be an added advantage.


Geographic Experience:


United Arab Emirates / GCC UAE Driving License
Computer Skills:


MS Office package and working in Oracle is preferred


Language Skills:


Proficienty in English is must.


Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:


Market knowledge is vital. Excellent Time Management, Industry knowledge is an advantage. Knowledge of Customer Service best practices

Key Roles & Responsibilities


Assist in setting up ship chandler business in UAE in collaboration with Management. Generate Ship Chandlering business in UAE from Shipping Agencies, Shipping companies, Marine, Offshore, Oil and Gas industries, Ship Chandlers in UAE, GCC Countries. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Identify the leads, potential clients and develop business opportunities. Develop expertise in ship chandlery products such as marine equipment, provision supplies, and spare parts. Maintain strong relationships with key clients in relevant business sectors. Achieve Sales Targets through regular / planned visits to customers and prospects. Devise and implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and market share. Collaborate with sales Team to drive business growth. Respond timely to all inquiries and participate in related tenders. Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements in line with Milaha's policy. Ensure a stable source of ship chandelling items and maintain stock for timely delivery. Ensure customers are satisfied with product performance and service. Prepare and submit regular sales reports outlining performance, market trends to Supervisor. Maintain and update Database of leads, client visits and prospects regularly. Analyse Sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
