We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager for Valve Controls and Actuators responsible for Middle East and North African markets - excluding Saudi Arabia and Bahrain to strengthen our team. Your location will be United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi or Dubai).

In this position, you will be in charge of developing and growing the Valve Controls and Actuators business in your responsibility area.

Your main responsibilities: Sales, Marketing and Business development of Valmet Valve Controls and Actuators (Smart technology & Actuation) products. Achieve target sales and order volumes with target profit level. Ensure necessary product approvals with all end-users, engineering, procurement, and construction and listing on all project vendor lists. Map the market; business potential for Valmet and identify business development initiatives Plan and execute annual action plans. Create and develop high level customer contacts. Develop strong distributor network for Valmet's Valve Controls and Actuators products. Co-ordinate customer seminars, events, and other marketing initiatives. Follow business trends & competitors' action, and report and implement necessary action. To secure preferred vendor position for all Global local projects with contractors from FEED to Awarded, where end-user is based in the responsible countries Ensure effective inter-company project communication. Provide management with necessary reports. Capability to have technical review of inquiry documents. Capability to reply on technical queries raised during the quotation phase with regular follow-up of open opportunities. Commercial contract review and negotiation skills.

What you will need to be successful in the role: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical/electronic/control& instrumentation, preferred) 8+ years sales experience of various equipment in valves, automation Industry Fluency in English both written and verbal Market and customer experience & exposure to Oil & Gas, Refining & Petrochemical and EPC contractors will be preferred Knowledge of parts/materials used within the Flow Control, Mining, Steel, and allied industries Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Systematic and independent Strong communication and team-player Customer and results-oriented Good planning, negotiation, and networking skills
