Job Description

The Sales Manager systematically develops, supports, and implements growth strategies to achieve or exceed bookings targets for Strategic Accounts/End-user business in UAE and for a defined opportunity. Opportunities can range from targeted displacement, driving strategic Account Plans, driving PRM solutions for a focused industry sector, effective engagement with End Users, working towards a profitable business, and engaging with the Local Business Representatives for successful execution of the job function. This role handles an approximate business potential of $10M, as a single contributor. Working in a matrix organization this role will support and collaborate with other businesses, functions, and local business partners of Emerson. Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategy to drive and grow Profitable Businesses such as MRO, Parts, Displacement, and Service businesses and increase revenue and returns from the existing validated installed base.
  • Take a proactive supporting role in coordinating with the Regional Sales Manager, Global Project Pursuit Team and World Area Sales team to identify, qualify, and pursue projects from End User influence to achieve order conversion and increase the potential for the Business of all Emerson products and services.
  • Establish and develop high-level positive relationships with key leaders and at all functional levels with customers.
  • Engage and drive Emerson-PRM strategic (SPs) and tactical priorities (TCs)
  • Meet or exceed territory financial objectives (budget, monthly booking forecast, etc.) as the need arises in support of the PRM Territory business plan.
  • Travel extensively to end-user sites and offices to develop business, build opportunity funnel, and provide solutions to customers.
  • Candidate must have/should develop technical skills and the ability to engage with others to present Emerson solutions to the customers independently.
  • Build and implement Sales and Site plan strategies for key install base in UAE.
  • Drive solution selling for critical applications and solving customer Pain through site visits and surveys, analyze, and develop plans to drive suitable displacement solutions to End Users.
  • Prepare and present marketing forecasts, pricing surveys, business growth intelligence, and marketing plans.
  • Work closely with other Emerson Units and improve pull-through content.
  • To Strive for the End user approval for the manufacturing location and the brands with Key End Users and to qualify for the project-specific and Approved Vendor Lists.
  • Develop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of the Pressure Management Business Unit and Emerson Automation Solutions.
  • Proactively engage early with the End Users Project team to support and gain preference for the PRM products and solutions.
  • Ensure Emerson Ethics and trade compliance procedures are closely followed with all business transactions.
  • Share timely updates with developments in Products, industry, and market trends.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree level in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering, or similar degree.
Additional Information
  • A minimum of 8 - 10 years in direct selling, leading large NOC/IOCs/Strategic Accounts
  • Candidates with Multi-linguistic skills will have an advantage. Proficiency in English is a must and Arabic speaking would be an advantage.
  • This role involves extensive travel for customer visits and 60-70% of the time should be spent on customer meetings and presentations.
  • Candidates with selling experience of similar or Emerson technology, products, and solutions will be preferred.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and growing territory above market growth.
  • Ability to consistently deliver Sales growth and gain customers\' reputation. Shown experience handling Hydrocarbon, Mining, Chemical, and Power industries will be an added advantage.

  • Ensure effective management of HSSE risks and impacts. Report all hazards, incidents, and Near Misses in line with the MEA Emerson HSE incident policy. Active involvement in the investigation of accidents, near misses, incidents, and ill health where required.
  • Conduct all HSE training assigned to you as an employee 100% utilization of the Emerson Safety App.
