Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Performance
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
Define KPIs, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback.
Conduct training to enhance product knowledge and negotiation skills.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth goals.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management.
3. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and consultants.
Support the team in high-value negotiations and project closures.
Ensure client satisfaction through timely support and service.
4. Recruitment & Development
Recruit, onboard, and train new sales professionals.
Drive continuous learning, professional growth, and team-building initiatives.
5. Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction and building materials sector.
Collaborate with marketing to boost lead generation and brand presence.
Work closely with operations and logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Sales Reporting & Analytics
Track and analyze sales performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare reports for senior management.
Recommend corrective actions to optimize sales effectiveness.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the building materials/construction sector.
Strong knowledge of project sales for tiles, marble, paints, lighting, sanitaryware, or related products.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
