Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Oman. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and achieving sales targets. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve the agreed sales targets Fully responsible for the revenue generation of the sponsorship, exhibition stands, and delegates registration to achieve agreed sales targets for your event Working closely with Project Head for the success of the event and to achieve the agreed sales target Manage the sales team and provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets To seek out, consider, and evaluate new business opportunities Analyse sales data, Monitor sales figures, and report on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to enable senior management to be updated on the progress of the event Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients. Frequently monitor competitive events and identify new leads to ensure that sales opportunities are developed and maximized Visit exhibitions and other relevant events to contact existing clients and develop relations with potential clients Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure current and new business is developed Working closely with the Project Head and Marketing Manager, assist in developing a marketing strategy to generate maximum participation of exhibitors, delegates, and, visitor Working closely with the sales team and accounts department in revenue collections QUALIFICATIONS . Min 2-3 years of B2B sales management and account handling experience . Previous relevant experience in an events company is a desirable . Familiarity in selling Sponsorship, Exhibition stand, and Delegates . Experience in Oman and the Middle East market is plus . Arabic & English written and spoken is a must . Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with a wide variety of clients and partners across multiple mediums, including; phone, email, and face-to-face meetings . Highly motivated, ambitious, and a desire to take ownership and responsibility to ensure the best outcome and meet the deadline . Ability to work towards KPIs, using them as a motivational tool to hit and exceed targets . Adaptable and collaborative nature, able to work individually and as part of a team . Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages particularly PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel . Availability of extra hours and weekends as per project requirements . Willingness to travel within and outside Oman Remuneration: Competitive salary as per the market standards with performance-based incentives.
