Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at the Wyndham Garden Muscat location in Oman.
Job Summary
Sales Manager will be reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing. The job holder is responsible for maximizing all sales opportunities through a structured pro-active approach in order to achieve/exceed the Hotel’s Sales plan. He/she will be a self-starter, with confidence B2B selling and presenting to clients of all levels. In addition, he / she will ensure the implementation of all new projects, strategies, updates, changes in all phases and functions of the marketing divisions.
Sales
Is responsible for team key account management and an assigned account ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets and increasing fair market share versus competitor set.
Is responsible for prospecting new accounts locally and assigned geographical markets.
Contributes and Involves in annual sales budget by providing statistics and forecasts of account productions.
Contributes the annual and rolling 3 monthly sales and marketing action plan and executes set actions accordingly.
Executes contracted segments sales strategy and promotes objectives as outlined in S&M plan defined by DOSM
Monitors local companies and the local planning authorities to take advantage of any new business opportunities
Organizes and carries out client entertainment, shows rounds and FAM trips for key bookers (agent/direct) and main decision makers.
Attends internal Meetings, Conference Calls, trade shows, sales blitz, workshops, etc. in the assigned markets.
Knows detailed knowledge of all services provided by the Hotel direct and indirect competitor set
Ensures hotels engagement in all brand initiatives, campaigns and optimum usage of sales tools.
Works closely with global sales offices to develop and implement optimum sales activities for the hotel
Encourages sister hotel cross selling opportunities and proficient in using all WHR Sales and Marketing tools / platforms
Monitors hotel engagement with global account RFPs and rate loading and business cases for new ideas and opportunities
Being part of sales and marketing team, manage department cost and roster.
Human Resources
Ensure that the hotels are fully compliant with Wyndham people processes and deadlines that govern all Wyndham properties. E.g. AES, Success Matters, Probation reviews etc.
Ensure 100% compliance with all mandatory training for your department
Support WeCom with quarterly People, Community and Sustainability engagement events

EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATION
Experience working in a 4/5 start branded hotel in a similar role
BS/BA required
English (Fluent), Arabic is plus
Strong sales experience in the hospitality industry
Omani National will be an advantage
