Basic Function: a~ As the General Trading Sales Manager, you will be leading a sales team and will be ultimately responsible for all matters relating to sales targets, strategic alliances, complete customer satisfaction, long -term sustainable growth and personnel development of your team members. You will use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of services. You will be responsible for optimizing work flow procedures and sales information. Responsibilities: a~ Lead the Sales Team to generate sales leads to maximize on sales opportunities and drive the growth of the Business Unit. a~ Maintain contacts with existing clients and promote contacts with new prospective customers, to obtain work for the Business Unit to enhance good public relations. a~ Provide technical and commercial support including presentations, to help secure contracts and maintain high level client relationships. a~ Close deals independently and leverage on the various resources available within the Business Unit. a~ Presenting the product and service offering to the UAE client base whilst identifying company wide sales opportunities. a~ Providing pre-sales technical assistance and service education to customers as well as to the other stake holders within the company. a~ Offer after-sales support and providing technical back up to the sales team, as required a~ Prepare Sales and Marketing literature, conducting road-shows, seminars and attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings. a~ Establish objectives and KPIaEUR(TM)s for yourself and your team at the same time develop, monitor progress and facilitate achievement. a~ Evaluate performance of your team and recommend new strategies for performance improvements. a~ Ensure that your team works in compliance with company policies and procedures. a~ Identify resources, assign workloads and manage schedules to ensure timely deliveries from your team. a~ Empower your team members to take responsibility for their jobs and roles. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback. a~ Adhere to all Company policies and procedures including CRM, Quality, HSE and HR. a~ Maintain and contribute to a company philosophy of continuous improvement. Essentially this will involve taking ownership and responsibility for your processes and continually seeing to review and improve these functions.
