About the Role:

An exciting role has arisen for a talented Sales Manager to join the team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait. You will be responsible for managing the relationship, qualify and evaluate accounts, sales solicitation for group and individual business for catering, food & beverage and rooms in general within assigned segments.

The successful candidate must ensure that Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa is the first choice for assigned accounts and that revenues are maximized. Main Duties:

Educate customers/accounts on the product and services at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait

Build rapport with key corporate and government accounts

Complete assigned sales calls on a daily basis

Conduct site inspections when needed

Conduct regular competitor's surveys on events being held at competitor hotels and follow-up with introductory letter

When required attend/schedule lunch entertainment for Key accounts

Chair a sales briefing once a week pertaining to the corporate business environment in the markets

Schedule call to be made one week in advance and share this information in the daily sales briefings

To develop a practice of weekly sales call plan in order to help better planning in terms of time management, sales objectives and who we want to see

Organize business entertainment to include: luncheons, dinners, cocktails to know the client and give them confidence in the Hotel Management team, introduce the General Manager whenever possible.

Track and share information regarding new business trends

Understand factors that affect the market, inform management accordingly and come with the solution

Keep track of the competitors regarding special promotions and rate packages

Communicate effectively to ensure that the sales function is carried out smoothly and commitments are met

Build up good rapport with the other hotel departments

Any other task requested by the management

About You:

Qualifications Business or related degree from Internationally recognized tertiary institution. Experience At least 2 years' experience in Sales or similar role Preferably worked in a 5 star hotel Must have experience working in Kuwait or the GCC Skills and Attributes Valid driving license Fluent in both English and Arabic language Ability to travel frequently within the GCC when required Excellent communication, interpersonal relationships, and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong and outgoing personality and good negotiation skills Strong team player Confident, friendly and approachable manner Must be articulate and attention to details Experience with data analysis and interpretation Strong relationship within the corporate and government segments About the Benefits:
