Deluxe Holiday Homes is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reservation Manager to join our Revenue department. As a Reservation Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our reservation process and maximizing revenue for our holiday homes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the reservation system and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
• Ensure that all leads are addressed and managed by staff in a timely and accurate manner through effective revision and control processes.
• Enhance the tracking of reservation payments with post-payment terms to ensure proactive follow-up and timely processing of payments.
• Monitor inventory, rates, and availability to maximize revenue and occupancy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the reservation system.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide information about reservations.
• Handle reservation modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with guests, addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to implement strategies to increase reservations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, and other relevant departments to ensure efficient communication and smooth operations.
• Generate regular reports on reservation statistics, including occupancy rates, revenue generated, and other key performance indicators.
• Analyses data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Train and develop reservation staff on best practices, customer service standards, and effective use of reservation systems.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Conduct regular audits of reservations to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
• Implement quality assurance measures to enhance the overall reservation process.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in reservation management or a similar role within the hospitality, Travel & Tourism industry.
• Strong knowledge of reservation systems and hotel management software
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and multitasking abilities.
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
