Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in the field of Exhibition and Event Management. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience in the exhibitions and events industry and possess a strong network and database of clients. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of our company. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company\'s products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients. Client Relationship Management: Leverage your existing client database to generate leads and new business opportunities.
Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and meetings.
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific exhibition and event requirements. Networking and Industry Engagement: Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to represent the company and create new business connections.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to remain competitive. Proposal Development and Negotiation:Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals that address client needs and showcase the company\'s capabilities.
Lead negotiations with clients to close deals that are mutually beneficial and align with company objectives. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including event planners, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
Provide input to enhance the company\'s service offerings based on client feedback and market trends. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
Present regular sales performance updates to senior management. Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 4 years of proven sales experience in the exhibitions and events industry.
  • Established database of clients and a strong professional network.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the exhibitions and events landscape.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
