WATER QUALITY PLATFORM

Danaher\'s Water Quality (\xe2\x80\x98WQ\xe2\x80\x9d) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater, and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including Hach, Trojan Technologies, McCrometer and ChemTreat. WQ MEA has sales offices in Dubai, Egypt, and South Africa.

POSITION SUMMARY

Sales Manager, based in Dubai, is responsible for Hach direct & indirect business primarily within the assigned territory. This role will manage Hach portfolio with the existing channel partners in the region. Geography will be changed as per company requirement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Achieve sales objectives set for the assigned territory by Regional Sales Manager
  • Manage territorial distribution channels by participating in establishing annual goals, directing and training distributors
  • Assist distribution partners by providing written marketing and sales materials to accomplish mutual business objectives
  • Serve as a technical application specialist, providing product expertise in HL products to distributors and customers
  • Ensure high level of product training for distribution partner associates for new and existing products
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers by making visits, exploring specific needs, resolving problems
  • Participate in establishing MENA pricing strategies for HL products
  • Collect and report information on competitive activities, business opportunities, sales trends and results within the assigned territory
  • Develop relationships with the Hach Lange support function to best serve the activity
  • Participates in territorial technical conferences
  • Define market verticals for each existing channel partner
  • Conduct field trips to direct end-users, and report accordingly
  • Responsible for implementing regional strategies
  • Prepare and manage action plan to drive sales activities
  • Update sales visits, calls, and their related activity on SFDC

  • Revenue generation and sales growth for distributors
  • Funnel Development
  • Successful integration of new products in the region

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences, Automation, Process control or equivalent experience. Alternate science degrees will be considered or related University Degree
  • Two to five years\xe2\x80\x99 Industrial experience in water quality laboratory products & consumables sales experience preferred.
  • Process control, liquid analytics, or automation knowledge
  • Working experience in Kuwait & UAE, laboratory / end user markets is highly preferable
  • Proven track record in outstanding sales performance
  • Working knowledge with standard programs (Microsoft Office, CRM)
  • Must have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively

  • Outstanding communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to handle concurrent projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers
