Job Title Sales Manager

Description

The objective of this position is to represent the property (villa) within the designated market segments. Meet
goals in room nights and revenue as set by the CEO/General Manager of the company.
The Sales Manager consistently represents a "can do" attitude and processes exceeds revenue target.
As the Local, on property sales contact for customers, the Sales Manager is responsible for proactively
soliciting and primarily handles local companies with great revenues.
Respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
Maintain active liaison with competitors, through personal contacts, professional and industry associations,
keeping abreast of competitors' services, facilities and accounts to ensure the property remains in a
competitive position and develops new sales leads.
Make qualified sales calls to top accounts and solicit new clients in the corporate market. Prepare
appointments and do follow up in a timely manner.
Answer all incoming individual or group inquires, from internal or external clients in a congenial manner and
respect the same day response procedures.
Ensure financial success of the property by overseeing all bookings is profitable for the property.
Initiate contact with all prospective member companies, as identified through direct sales program and existing
database.
Ensure that all reservations and customer communications are actioned promptly and accurately handled as
outlined in company's policy (same day response).
Undertake assignments and duties at the request and under the direction of the General Manager/CEO.
Work closely with General Manager on brainstorming problem solving, regional activities, monthly reports and
marketing plans.
Ability to interpret market data and apply to sales strategy
Develop and maintain relationship e.g., customers, vendors
Implements strategies and executes activities to drive financial results
Develops implements and sustains aggressive solicitation program focused on increasing business.
Supervise the social media activities.
Supervise online marketing programs.
Contribute to advertising plan, media buying, copy, photography, layout and creative to ensure a consistent
message.
Drive the tactical marketing initiatives for the property as directed.
Skills
Russian Speaking
School or University Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Must have a minimum of (2+) year of progressive sales experience
Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred; experience selling luxury brands and experiential services preferred.
Aggressive negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business with a high conversion ratio.
Must be able to "Knock on doors" to get the business
Knows how to conduct research on the Internet.
Weekly prospecting and soliciting goals
Uncovering new customers (Local and social)
Knowledge of contract management and legalities
Financial management skills e.g., ability to understand P&L statements, manage operating budgets, forecasting and scheduling
