Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven

Sales Executive

to oversee the

procurement and sales of fresh chicken

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality poultry from suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and driving sales to wholesale, retail, or institutional clients. This role demands strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and a passion for the meat/poultry industry.

Key Responsibilities: Procurement:

Identify and establish reliable sources for high-quality fresh chicken. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms with poultry farms and vendors. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement to meet sales demand. Monitor supplier performance, quality, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with logistics for timely delivery.

Sales & Business Development:

Develop and maintain relationships with clients including retailers, restaurants, hotels, and wholesalers. Generate new business opportunities and expand customer base. Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and pricing strategies. Coordinate with the marketing team for promotions and customer engagement.

Operations & Reporting:

Track daily sales, procurement, and inventory data. Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and procurement issues. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food regulatory standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience in sales and/or procurement, preferably in the meat or poultry industry. Knowledge of the local and regional fresh chicken supply chain. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain supplier and client relationships. Familiarity with inventory and sales tracking software is an advantage. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Valid driving license .

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Food Technology, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in sales or procurement, ideally within the fresh food sector.
