is responsible for generating sales and business growth for fresh fruits and vegetables in the UAE market. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients, and ensuring smooth order execution. The Sales Executive will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring the company remains competitive in the fresh produce industry.
1. Key Responsibilities
1.1 Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new sales opportunities in key market segments, including wholesale and export customers.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
Actively seek new customers through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers to increase order volumes and retention rates.
Understand customer requirements, negotiate pricing, and provide customized solutions.
Conduct regular market visits to assess customer needs and competitor activities.
1.2 Account Management & Customer Relations
Handle all customer inquiries, quotations, and negotiations professionally and efficiently.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality products and maintaining excellent service levels.
Work closely with the shipping and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and deliveries.
Monitor customer payment schedules and coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely collections.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, contracts, and sales transactions in the CRM system.
1.3 Sales & Revenue Growth
Develop strategies to maximize revenue and profitability through upselling and cross-selling.
Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and prepare sales forecasts and reports.
Identify slow-moving products and propose sales strategies to clear stock efficiently.
Ensure that pricing strategies align with company goals and market trends.
1.4 Market & Product Knowledge
Stay updated on fresh produce trends, pricing fluctuations, and seasonal availability.
Educate customers on different product varieties, quality standards, and handling practices.
Gather competitor intelligence and provide recommendations to maintain a competitive edge.
1.5 Operational Coordination
Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure order accuracy and timely deliveries.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishment planning.
Ensure that all sales transactions comply with company policies and UAE market regulations.
Assist in planning and executing special sales promotions or bulk order discounts.
2. Qualifications & Requirements
2.1
Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
2.2 Work Experience
Minimum 2-3 years
of experience in fresh produce sales within the UAE market.
Strong knowledge of fruit and vegetable categories, quality standards, and supply chain processes.
2.3 Key Skills & Competencies
Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets under pressure.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Fluency in
English
(Arabic or other languages is an advantage).
Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
