The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the oil & gas sector. This role requires strong industry knowledge and proven experience selling products, equipment, or services to oilfield operators, drilling companies, EPC contractors, and energy sector clients. The Sales Executive will work closely with internal teams to develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the oil & gas market.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key industry players including operators, drilling contractors, and service companies.
Manage existing client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
Conduct market research to understand competitor products, pricing, and industry trends.
Collaborate with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings when required.
Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM records.
Negotiate terms and close deals in alignment with company policies.
Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional strategies to support sales activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
3-5+ years of proven sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry
(equipment, chemicals, drilling tools, valves, pipes, or related services).
Strong technical understanding of oilfield equipment and operations.
Existing network of industry contacts in Libya / Region is a strong advantage.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
