Sales Executive – Marine & Power Equipment & Generators

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth of marine equipment, power equipment, and generators by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering excellent customer service. The role requires technical understanding of the products to effectively communicate benefits and provide solutions to clients in the marine and power sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

Identify and approach potential customers in the marine, power generation, and industrial sectors. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to customers.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new clients. Understand client requirements and provide customized solutions based on their needs. Address customer inquiries, negotiate terms, and resolve complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.

Market & Product Knowledge

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marine equipment, power equipment, and generators, including technical specifications and industry trends. Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with internal teams such as procurement, engineering, and after-sales support to ensure timely delivery and installation of products. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for management review.

Networking & Representation

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings. Develop a network of contacts to generate leads and increase market penetration.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. 2-4 years of proven sales experience in marine equipment, power equipment, or generators. Strong technical knowledge of marine and power generation products is highly desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and ability to work independently. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
