What you will be doing:

As a Sales Executive, your role will include such as:

\xc2\xb7 To be very familiar with hotel products, rates, and promotions at all times. Maintain up to date understanding of company products and rates and involvement in cross selling of these when required

\xc2\xb7 Be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of all competing hotel and restaurant products and provide weekly regular updates after visiting competition hotels allocated for tracking purposes

\xc2\xb7 Provide ongoing market intelligence by monitoring business sources and segments

\xc2\xb7 Represent hotel at trade fairs, functions and other related events as directed.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that sales blitzes in the local city or outstation for the geographic area of responsibility are conducted timely and efficiently.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in hotel activities including promotions, sales blitzes, entertainment and other operational areas as directed.

\xc2\xb7 Penetrate and saturate prospective and existing customer organizations for effective multi department selling.

\xc2\xb7 Service needs of customers by attending to all requests promptly within 24 hours.

\xc2\xb7 Assists the Sales Manager in pursuing new market segments to secure sales and prepare proposals for consideration

\xc2\xb7 Develop strong, secure and productive business relations with all companies within portfolio under the geographic / market segment allocated.

\xc2\xb7 Maximize occupancy and average rate of hotel through creative and selective selling.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain a calendar allowing you to meet all established deadlines and planned sales trips. Regular deadlines include (but are not limited to) the monthly forecast and expect-to-turn reports.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate information on all new and on-going leads and accounts, including solicitation efforts.

\xc2\xb7 Assists the Sales Manager in planning and executing cost-effective and productive sales trips into your assigned territory, to improve and increase our penetration of that market.

\xc2\xb7 Contact and entertain clients during their site visits and through invitations to contacts within his/her respective segment.

\xc2\xb7 Ensures that all incoming correspondence (inquiries, requests, offers, confirmations, etc.) are attended to and replied in due time.

\xc2\xb7 Prepares and transmits the Call Reports on a weekly basis to the DOS.

\xc2\xb7 Establishes a Monthly Report, which includes the summary of the past activities, prospection and trends, and analyses competitor\xe2\x80\x99s sales and promotion efforts, forecast for all sales activities & production/conversion figures. Attends once a month hotel\xe2\x80\x99s Sales/Rooms Division and Credit meeting.

\xc2\xb7 Targets to achieve key figures from key accounts / key markets through preparation and execution of proper action plan for his/her field of responsibility.

\xc2\xb7 Conducts rate market surveys to advise management of actual market trends.

\xc2\xb7 Special deals (out of guidelines and rate policy) must in any case be discussed, co-ordinated and approved prior to offer with the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s management.

\xc2\xb7 Perform duties in a manner that respects Rixos Hotels & Resorts\xe2\x80\x99 Core Behaviours which are Trust, Relationship, Entrepreneurship and Drive.

Your experience and skills include:

\xc2\xb7 With minimum 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in similar role in a 5 star or luxury brand hotel

\xc2\xb7 Strong problem solving and organizational skills

\xc2\xb7 Good communication (written and oral \xe2\x80\x93 Arabic or Russian language is an advantage)
