Sales Executive Freight N Forwarding

Job Description

The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth in the freight forwarding sector. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.

3. Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions for clients.

4. Market Analysis:
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments.
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports on performance metrics.
- Adjust sales strategies based on market analysis and feedback.

5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to enhance the company's visibility.

6. Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and other documentation as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
